ECHO Q & A
ECHO
ECHO Q: I keep calling the FAX number but all i get is a beep-beep...
ECHO A: The first point we would like to clear is our fax number, 817-249-4284,
ECHO is a FAX LINE ONLY. It is NEVER answered by voice. Also, we receive dozens
ECHO of calls each week promising registrations if we'll only answer their question
ECHO immediately by phone or fax. Many months back we did a survey and found
ECHO that we were developing a large phone bill and a stack of promises. By all
ECHO means fax us your questions, but please include your proper mailing address
ECHO for a prompt reply by mail, or electronic mail.
ECHO
ECHO Q: When I click on the [?] on the Launch/Edit/Exit panel I get an error.
ECHO A: You get an error message because you failed to put AUTOROMA.WRI in your
ECHO C:\WINDOWS directory. Move it there and the error message will go away.
ECHO
ECHO Q: I keep typing in a registration number and nothing happens.
ECHO A: If we sent you a registration number and you type it in incorrectly,
ECHO nothing will happen. If correct, you should get a message `Registration
ECHO Complete' and the [Register] control should no longer appear on the panel.
ECHO But we're not perfect. It is possible we sent an erroneous number. Write us
ECHO for a corrected one.
ECHO A: If you got a registration number from a friend, nothing will happen.

ECHO Q: I keep getting a "File Not Found" Error and AutoROMa never starts.
ECHO A: On your Program Manager Menu Bar Click [F]ile then Click [Properties]
ECHO then Click [Command Line], then Click [Browse]. Now point to where AutoROMa
ECHO exists on your system. This should clear up this "File Not Found" Error.
ECHO A: Not everyone sets up their system the same. Since AutoROMa.WRI is
ECHO set up to be found in a C:\WINDOWS directory and you setup your system to
ECHO have a C:\WIN directory instead, or you have D:\WINDOWS, or Z:\WINDOWS for
ECHO that matter - simply setup a dummy directory of C:\WINDOWS and put
ECHO AutoROMa.WRI there. Configuration for this will be available in the next
ECHO version. (This may even clear up a "File Not Found" error before AutoROMa
ECHO is loaded!)
